/ world today news/ “Judge Rumyana Chenalova has been declared a nationwide wanted person because she wanted to disappear from Bulgaria before Easter”, announced journalist Margarita Mikhneva in an interview for BNT, citing “operational information of the National Security Service”. The judge’s goal was to travel to Frankfurt and then to Brazil, where her brother had bank accounts.
“The only case that scared Rumiana Chenalova was the case of Angel Bozhilov from United Energy Traders against NEK for BGN 20 million,” the journalist claims.
“When he submitted an application to register his claim against NEK for BGN 6 million, Angel Bozhilov deposited BGN 690,000 in the name of the law firm of his defender, which was immediately withdrawn by hand by a person from this firm. BGN 390,000 of this money are legal fees in the case against NEK, the businessman’s lawyers claim,” Mikhneva pointed out and added that shortly afterwards Bozhilov increased his claim against the state energy company to BGN 20 million.
“Judge Chenalova has admitted that she corrected 10 minutes of court sessions, which changes the damage requested by Bozhilov to BGN 20 million. By changing the dates, Chenalova predetermined the winning of the case and the withdrawal of the large sum from the state,” the journalist believes.
According to her, there was no representative of NEK at the case itself to protect the interest of the state. Thus, the process is facilitated and Bozhilov gets close to the money of NEK. “Angel Bozhilov’s yacht is at a port in Northern Greece, it was leased to Bozhilov’s lawyer and Judge Chenalova used to go there,” Mikhneva said and added that in the fraud the name of Petko Sertov is also involved.
“Petko Sertov was brutally beaten in front of his home before he disappeared. Then he goes to Greece, without calling his wife, enters a hospital. On his way out of the hospital, he crashed his car and was beaten again. That’s why he now goes with security,” Mikhneva claimed. The former head of DANS knows everything about Angel Bozhilov’s affairs, Mikhneva noted.
