With such a statement spoke famous Russian oppositionist Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
He expressed the opinion that the war against Ukraine will continue, since the Putin regime does not show any signals of readiness for peace. As a result, Khodorkovsky warned, the Russian Federation will suffer an economic and social catastrophe.
“RF will finally be cut out of the sphere of modern technology. A militarized economy will ruin Russia’s population of 140 million… Putin will die, and we will discover, as we discovered after the collapse of the Soviet Union, that there are no deposits in Sberbank; (…); that there is no Pension Fund – they sent it to war; that housing and communal services, infrastructure, industry are behind the world level by exactly Putin’s quarter of a century“, said the Russian oppositionist.
After this, in his words, Russia will need decades to recover.
He clarified that the only way to save Russia from a sad fate is to demolish the Putin regime, as well as end the war against Ukraine, “before it’s too late.”
