Mikel Arteta confident that a goal against Bournemouth will change fate Kai Havertz at Arsenal. Havertz previously fasted for goals with the Gunners.
Arsenal managed to achieve a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, Saturday (30/9/2023). Arsenal’s four goals came from Bukayo Saka’s header in the 17th minute, Martin Odegaard’s penalty in the 44th minute. Kai Havertz also from the spot in the 53rd minute and Ben White in injury time.
For Havertz, his score against Bournemouth was his first goal for Arsenal. This German player just joined the Gunners this summer from Chelsea.
His performance was highlighted with Arsenal because he often wasted opportunities. Therefore, Havertz had to fast for goals in his previous nine matches with Arsenal.
Now the goal that Havertz has been waiting for for Arsenal has arrived. Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta believes this goal will change Havertz’s situation at Arsenal.
Arteta revealed that Havertz was in a difficult condition after being unable to score goals in previous matches. However, Arsenal players always provide support to Havertz. He also always believed that Havertz would score a goal soon.
“That will probably change everything. But first, if he has any question marks about how we feel about him, how much we love him, how much we appreciate everything he does, I think that has been shown,” said Arteta, quoted on the Arsenal website.
“We’re all trying to give him the right support and tools to do what he has to do. He’s done a lot of great things in the game. It’s about that moment, that’s the question that has to be resolved, and today he did it,” he explained.
