UNITED STATES.- The American football player, Mike Evans, showed how supportive it is and donated a large sum of money to people affected by winter storms that occurred in Texas.
The American football player sympathized with his hometown; especially with Galveston, where is he from. It should be noted that this area was one of the most affected.
TMZ Sports reported that Evans made a donation of 50 thousand dollars to the organization United Way of Galveston.
“The Galveston Community has supported me a lot throughout my career. After learning about the destruction caused by the winter storm, I knew I had to do something to return that same support“Commented the athlete.
For her part, the director of said program, Lindsey White, indicated that 37,500 of donated dollars were given directly to families, in vouchers for essential items; the rest will be delivered to Johnny Mitchell Boys and Girls Club of Galveston and the house of San Vicente.
