The Laval Rocket is currently having an absolutely incredible start to the season under the orders of Pascal Vincent.
After eight games, the Laval squad has a record of seven wins and one loss, good for a total of 14 points.
The Rocket sits in first place in the North division, while everything seems to be going perfectly for the club, which puts on a great and exciting show for its supporters at Place Bell.
Moreover, last night, the Rocket won 2 to 1 against the Providence Bruins at Place Bell thanks to a magnificent performance from goalie Connor Hughes.
With only 14 shots on net, the Rocket was lucky to escape with two points in regulation.
It must be believed that the support of the fans and the presence of a certain Mike Babcock (yes, yes) propelled the team to victory.

Indeed, the former head coach of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Columbus Blue Jackets was present last night at Place Bell.
So he came to Quebec to see the team of Pascal Vincent, his former work colleague with the Columbus Blue Jackets, with whom he spent the start of the season before being fired.
One wonders if the two men took the time to talk to each other at all.
Babcock will therefore have seen a great victory for the Rocket, while he must have enjoyed doing some scouting for his own benefit, at least perhaps simply stopping by to say hello to a few supporters/players and certainly Pascal Vincent.
It appears he was present for the McGill game at the community rink. He would always be associated with McGill hockey.

In short, we see that the former coach eats hockey, even if he no longer has a position in the NHL.
Moreover, we can wonder if Babcock will be present this afternoon at Place Bell, while the Rocket is again in action against the same Providence Bruins.
If so, Babcock will be entitled to a Rocket who is not 100%.
Alex Barré-Boulet, Filip Mesar, Jakub Dobes, David Reinbacher and now Jared Davidson are all injured.
Davidson will also miss this afternoon’s match.
Forward Jared Davidson (lower body injury) will not play today. He will need further medical evaluation.

Hopefully it’s nothing serious in his case, because he’s off to a great start to the season with six points, including four goals, in eight games.

No better start the finale of the 2024 #NHLGlobalSeries Finland presented by Fastenal than involving Finnish hockey legend Jari Kurri. A 5-time Stanley Cup winner and Hall of Famer, Kurri received the 2024 Börje Salming Courage Award earlier in the day. pic.twitter.com/5wdQknQCX0

– Indeed.
You could argue Armia one way or another but he’s anl convenient choice, and the wakeup call worked last year. They did it before…and they wouldn’t mind seeing him or Dvo claimed. You aren’t sending down Gally or Anderson.
