Bureaucratic issues prevented the goalkeeper from having his situation regularized sooner
Mika will be registered in the League and will become the third option in goal for Moreirense, which currently has Kewin Silva and Caio Secco. The experienced goalkeeper, despite having been working with the team for some time, will officially become a reinforcement for the squad under the orders of Rui Borges.
The 32-year-old guardian, A Bola found, had reached an agreement with the canons in October, but, due to bureaucratic issues, he was prevented from being registered in the League. Even so, he continued to work with the squad, so as not to lose physical shape, and can now, with the reopening of the market, return to the main stage of national football.
After starting his career at UD Leiria, he played for Benfica – he never played for the main team –, Boavista, B SAD, Académica de Coimbra and Vitória de Setúbal, the club he represented last season.
