With the order of the prosecutor, the trial of the 26 defendants in the case of sexual abuse of the 12-year-old girl from Colonos continues today behind closed doors at the Mixed Jury Court of Athens.
According to information, the prosecutor of the seat of the court requested the guilt of the main accused Ilias Michou for aggravated abuse of a minor under the age of 14 by a person entrusted to him, for possession of pornographic material with a minor under the age of 12 but without coercion and speculation , for facilitating the minor to be extradited as well as for gun possession.
Instead, the prosecutor requested that the accused Ilias Michos be declared innocent on doubtful grounds for the rape of the child, for the crime of pimping in brothels and for coercive pimping with proceeds of prostitution.
The prosecutor continues his trial, in a closed-door proceeding, for the other 25 defendants, among whom is the girl’s mother.
