Miguel Treviño affirms that San Pedro is safer now, despite criminal acts

MONTERREY.- Despite the discovery of two bodies in the trunk of a car in the Rufino Tamayo Park and other criminal acts that have marked the inhabitants, the mayor of San Pedro, Miguel Treviño de Hoyos affirmed that the municipality is the safest with his administration than in recent years.

“All the numbers of external evaluations, including the crime incidence shown by the Prosecutor’s Office itself, show that the municipality is safer right now, than in recent years. It shows it in cases of high impact like this, as in property crimes,” he said. the mayor in an interview for Night Newscast.

Regarding the statements of his predecessor, Mauricio Fernández, who pointed out that the police are “helping criminal organizations”, Miguel Treviño responded that the situation in the municipality is treated “seriously and the results are in sight.”
