The scriptwriter and playwright from Alcoy Miquel Peidro has received a special mention at the XXXI edition of the Villa de Chiva Autumn Awards for his play ‘Reynas’. The awards were scheduled to be delivered this Friday, December 17, at the El Lavadero room in the Valencian town.
Synopsis
Lázaro Reyna is a film director who shares his love life with a young aspiring actor named Ramiro Eizmendi. Lazaro has not made a movie for a long time and lives locked up longing for his successes of yesteryear. But Lázaro is a controversial director and frowned upon by the industry, which makes it difficult not only for his rentrée but also for Ramiro’s career to take off, whom his mentor also crushes with a supposed dream of a daughter he had years ago. Is the actor’s love for Lázaro true or is it a sham thinking of his interest and that the director helps him find some professional opportunity?
