Miguel Oliveira’s big ambition to continue the positive trend at the 2021 German MotoGP : Okezone Sports

SACHSENRING – KTM Red Bull racer, Miguel Oliveira, got less than maximum results in the qualifying session MotoGP Germany 2021. Oliveira only managed to secure the sixth position in the qualification which took place at the Sachsenring Circuit, Saturday 19 June 2021 evening WIB.

The Portuguese rider recorded the best lap time with 1 minute 20,589 seconds. Oliveira is less than a second adrift of Johann Zarco (Pramac Ducati) who won the pole position.

That way, Oliveira will start the race from the second row at the 2021 German MotoGP later. Despite starting from a disadvantageous position, the 26-year-old rider remains ambitious to continue the positive trend at the Sachsenring Circuit.

As is known, Oliveira won the championship podium in the seventh series race or to be precise in the 2021 Spanish MotoGP.

It was Oliveira’s second podium after he previously managed to become runner-up at the 2021 French MotoGP.

“My position is not great at the start, but I will try to make the best of the first corner on Sunday. We have a good pace, we have worked hard all weekend and we are expecting a fantastic race.”

“For me it is a normal qualification. The problem is, it’s a short race track.”

“You don’t need a slipstream to go fast, but having a reference in front of you can let you get a little more out of it.

“In some areas we experienced a little problem in the braking system. But we have started to find a solution for that,” he concluded.
