Jakarta –
It’s beautiful MotoGP 2020 for Miguel Oliveira. Even though he only finished ninth in the world championship standings, he closed the season with his second championship trophy in his own country too! He is even happier because he is accompanied by his beloved younger brother who is also his future wife.
Miguel Oliveira won the 2020 Portuguese MotoGP series on Sunday (22/11/2020) yesterday. The 25-year-old Portuguese rider triumphed in his own country after beating Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli.
Yes, Miguel Oliveira’s victory did not necessarily increase his position drastically to the top positions of the final standings. He had to settle for being in ninth position in the final standings.
However, the result will still make Miguel Oliveira very happy. Not only the series champion in his own country, the Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider won his second podium since appearing in the MotoGP class last season.
Second podium Miguel Oliveira he achieved this season. Also at the top of the podium. He previously won the Styria MotoGP series in 2020.
Apart from these two results Miguel Oliveira never finished in the top three MotoGP 2020. Even apart from victories, his best finish this season has been to finish fifth twice in the Emilia Romagna MotoGP and European MotoGP.
Miguel Oliveira’s happiness in winning his latest victory has become even more complete thanks to the presence of Andreia Pimenta, his beloved sister whom he proposed in early September.
Miguel Oliveira and Andreia Pimenta do have an interesting relationship. Both are siblings but not biologically.
Andreia is the child brought by Paulo Oliveira’s second wife, his father Miguel Oliveira. In other words, Andreia is Miguel Oliveira’s “sister”.
Miguel Oliveira and Andreia Pimenta have known each other since they were 13 years old. They had kept their love story a secret for 11 years. Only in 2019 did Miguel Oliveira and Andreia Pimenta dare to declare themselves as a couple.
Andreia Pimenta also witnessed Miguel Oliveira’s action at the Portuguese MotoGP, which was the final series MotoGP 2020. The two of them also took a photo together on the track after the race.
Through Andreia Pimenta’s post, he appears to be holding the Portuguese MotoGP series championship trophy. There is Miguel Oliveira, with a cracked smile, which embraced him warmly.
“What a weekend that is difficult to describe. I am very grateful to be a part of this all and so proud of the extraordinary you, @ 88migueloliveira. Congratulations on everything you have achieved, my love. What extraordinary pride,” wrote Andreia Pimenta.
