The Neighborhoods 100×100 de Miguel Alconchel has won the municipal elections held this Sunday in the Villa but will need again of support to govern the next four years in the town.
A priori, the People’s Party of Pablo García once again establishes itself as the closest option to the localist party of the current mayor to reissue the government pact that they have maintained during the recently concluded term. The two formations add up to twelve councilors, one above the absolute majority that is reached in the town with eleven of the 21 councilors of the Corporation.
This is clear from the electoral result once 100% of the ballots have been scrutinized. Los Barrios 100×100 -identified in the system as Unión Andalucista, UA- has obtained 3,737 votes (36.22%) and matched the eight councilors which he achieved now four years ago. The party remains with the same representation as four years ago now, far from Alconchel’s goal of achieving a provincial deputy or being able to govern alone.
The PSOE of Daniel Pereaas the second force with the most votes in Los Barrios, will have six councilors in the next Corporation, one less, after adding 2,569 votes (24.9%), while the People’s Party Barreño improves in representation thanks to almost 500 more votes than four years ago, by achieving 1,767 votes (17.12%) that will allow him to seat four councilors (two more).
Barreno Movementa new political force formed from the associative movement and headed by emilio gonzalez, will have two councilors, thanks to the 854 votes obtained, equivalent to 8.27%. Vox also joins the political life of the Villa, with a councilor, Celia Fuentes, after adding 785 votes (7.6%). The ultra-conservative formation has remained 70 votes away from obtaining a second mayor.
Podemos will come out of the Barreño plenary. The candidacy headed by Rafael Oliva has remained close to the 5% necessary to obtain representation: it has obtained 473 votes, 4.58%.
Participation was 56.46%, with 10,526 voters.
The possibilities of alternative pacts to that of Los Barrios 100×100 and PP are configured, a priori, unlikely.
