Migrations expels a foreigner who tried to enter by force through the Jorge Chávez International Airport

Since 2023, the National Immigration Superintendency has ordered the reboarding of more than 2,470 foreigners whose entry into the country was denied at the Jorge Chávez International Airport.

The National Immigration Superintendence expelled a US citizen for presenting false documentation and attempting to evade immigration controls by force at the Jorge Chávez International Airport.

The individual, identified as BMD, from Miami, was detained by the Peruvian National Police and Immigration inspectors when he tried to leave the immigration facility, acting aggressively, without having authorization to enter the country.

This person already had a record in Peru, since in 2014 he was arrested and sentenced to prison for his participation in the “Clan de La Molina” organization, dedicated to drug trafficking.

In coordination with the National Police of Peru, Migrations applied the Exceptional Special Administrative Sanctioning Procedure (PASEE), which allows the rapid expulsion of foreigners who enter irregularly or threaten national security.

As a result of this procedure, Migrations ordered his expulsion and prohibited him from entering Peru for 15 years. The individual was reshipped bound for the United States last night, Saturday, April 6.

In addition, Migrations decided to fine the airline that brought him to the country for not complying with the requirements of immigration regulations.
