According to him, the Lithuanian border guards on July 22 detained a group of 15 people, citizens of Iraq and Russia, among whom were two children aged 6 and 1.5 years.
After the arrest, the parents reported that they could not wake the children up and asked for help. According to them, one of the Belarusian border guards, who accompanied the family to the border, gave the children two pills so that they would not cry. The children were taken to a medical institution, where methadone was found in their bodies.
According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland, if not for the quick intervention of the Lithuanian services, the children would have died.
