Migrant Clash at Sadovod Market in Moscow Leads to Dozens Arrested

Dozens of migrants surrounded police officers near the Sadovod market to free their fellow countryman detained by security forces.

On Friday, December 15, at the entrance to the Moscow market “Sadovod” there was a mass clash involving migrants and police.

The incident occurred after the police tried to detain the driver, a citizen of Tajikistan, who allegedly ignored the requirement to stop and decided to hide from the traffic police. During the arrest, the man suffered an epileptic seizure, writes “Cold”.

When the migrants saw that they were trying to arrest their fellow countryman, a group of about 80 people rushed to his aid. The crowd surrounded the police and tried to push them away from the driver. As a result, a clash occurred, and additional police were called to the scene of the incident and detained more than 80 people.

“The police used weapons and fired two warning shots into the air, after which the conflict subsided and the market workers dispersed. Later, the officers made arrests.”– clarifies Telegram channel “Watch out, news.”

Meanwhile, a criminal case was opened against the 21-year-old driver “for insulting and using violence against a security officer”; he was detained and arrested for 2 months by the Lublin court. The accused does not admit his guilt.

Earlier it was reported that Russia began raiding migrants who, after receiving Russian citizenship, did not register with the military. Moreover, in Chelyabinsk, the court decided to deprive the citizenship of two brothers who came to the Russian Federation from Central Asia and received a Russian passport for refusing military registration.
