Remembering Jack Staunton: A Life Celebrated
Jack Staunton, of Craughwell, County Galway, Ireland, and formerly of Milebush, Castlebar, County Mayo, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at University College Hospital galway. He fought a valiant battle against his illness.
He was predeceased by his sister, Ruth, and niece, Lily Rose.His memory will be cherished by his wife, Amber; his children, Keeva and Arlo; his parents, Patrick and Anne Staunton; his brother, David; his sisters, Anne, Vicki, and Megan; his mother-in-law, mary Corbett; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues at Brogan’s Pharmacy in Loughrea and Staunton’s Pharmacies.

Visitation will be held at his home in Lisnakirka, Milebush, Castlebar, County Mayo, on Tuesday, December 17, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 11:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Rosary in castlebar.Following the Mass, jack will be laid to rest at Castlebar New Cemetery.
