Summit ad AlUla con Mohammed Bin Salman
The summit between the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, ended overnight at the winter tent in AlUla. During the meeting, the Crown Prince and Blinken reviewed aspects of bilateral relations, areas of joint cooperation and ways to develop it to achieve the common interests of Saudi Arabia and the United States.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and efforts made towards them to achieve security and stability, in particular on the latest developments in the situation in Gaza.
The Saudi crown prince stressed the importance of halting military operations in Gaza, stepping up humanitarian aid efforts and working to create the conditions for the return of stability. He also called for a return to the path of peace that would ensure the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights and achieve lasting peace.
Blinken is on a regional tour as part of a diplomatic push to stop the war from spreading further into Gaza. Blinken visited Abu Dhabi yesterday where she met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and stressed the importance of urgently addressing humanitarian needs in Gaza.
