Mid-August queue on State Road 36

There was heavy traffic and long queues on State Road 36 this morning, the August bank holiday. As also confirmed by colleagues at Lecco todaythere were several queues and delays going north, so towards the lake and Valtellina, destinations for many tourists leaving from Milan and Brianza.

Fortunately, at least at this time, there were no accidents that slowed down the traffic any more.

Already in the last few weeks Anas had highlighted State Road 36 in the list of the busiest roads in the month of August, especially on days and weekends from “black dot“.
