MicroStrategy’s Chief Revenue Officer Kevin Adkisson Leaves Company, Buys Bitcoin Worth $347 Million

MicroStrategy’s Chief Revenue Officer Kevin Adkisson left the company after nearly seven years. This is stated in report for the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Adkisson will remain with the firm as a consultant for an indefinite period. Since July 5, his duties have been performed by the current CEO Fong Le.

MicroStrategy in August 2020 for the first time transferred part of the reserves into digital gold.

In June 2023, the analytics software provider purchased 12,333 BTC worth $347 million. At the time of writing, the company owns 152,333 BTC.

Recall that MiсroStrategy’s profit for the first quarter of 2023 amounted to $461.2 million. Against the backdrop of news about Bitcoin-ETF, the company’s shares showed strong growth on July 3.

Earlier it became known about the departure from Binance of the director of strategy Patrick Hillmann. According to Fortune, Senior Vice President of Compliance Stephen Christie and General Counsel Khan Ng also left the company.
