There is a war going on in the games market where Microsoft wants the best games for the Xbox and Sony in turn the same for the Playstation. The latest is that Microsoft tried to buy the gaming giant Activision Blizzard, but the competition authorities around the world have put sticks in the wheels. They believe that Microsoft should then be able to make game titles such as the popular Call of Duty exclusive for Xbox.
Just last week, Microsoft took a big step forward when a federal court overruled the US Federal Trade Commission and approved the deal. Probably to appease the FTC, Microsoft has now signed an agreement with Playstation that Call of Duty will continue to be available on the game console.
We are pleased to announce that Microsoft and @PlayStation have signed a binding agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. We look forward to a future where players globally have more choice to play their favorite games.

Microsoft’s Gaming CEO Phil Spencer made the announcement on Twitter on Sunday.
Microsoft has previously agreed to license out the game series to competitors such as Nintendo on long contracts.
