Launched about two months ago, the Surface Go 2 is already taking advantage of promotions to display at a reduced price on Amazon. All models of this new version of the affordable tablet from Microsoft are affected. Make your choice !
The Surface Go range allows Microsoft to offer more affordable tablets than its Surface Pro, while enjoying the same main advantages: that is to say a large touch screen in 2: 3 format running Windows. This new version obviously brings some new features which are, for once, accessible at a reduced price today.

Instead of 459 euros, the Microsoft Surface Go 2 equipped with an Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, is now available 409 euros on Amazon. The model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is displayed 559 euros instead of 629.
There is also a reduction of 90 euros on the Surface Go 2 with a more efficient Intel Core M3 with 4G compatibility. It then goes from 829 to 739 euros.

The Microsoft Surface Go 2 is a minor evolution of the first model. We see it first of all by a very similar design between the old and the new model. The only real difference comes from its screen, which is now supported by a 10.5-inch “Pixel Sense” touch screen, displaying a Full HD + definition of 1,920 x 1,280 pixels.

This is then noticed by its technical sheet identical to the Surface Go first of the name. Unsurprisingly, there is then an Intel Pentium Gold 4425 Y processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, accompanied by an Intel HD Graphics 615 GPU and 4 or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the model chosen. This configuration may therefore seem a little aging, but it is still capable of running the good majority of applications offered under Windows 10 S (a light version, where all software installations go through the Microsoft Store).
Finally, improvements have been made in terms of audio with the integration of “Studio Mics” technology. The latter clarifies the voice and reduces background noise during calls, which is ideal if you spend many hours of the day in videoconference, for example. The video also goes through a 5 megapixel front camera of good quality. The 8-megapixel camera on the back will be more useful for scanning your documents thanks to the new redesign of the Camera application.
That’s not all, the Microsoft Surface Go 2 is also updating with new modern standards, such as Bluetooth 5.0 or Wi-Fi 6.
