Microsoft’s $69 Billion Acquisition of Activision Blizzard Approved by US Federal Court

Microsoft has won a lawsuit from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that was trying to block its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

The ruling by San Francisco federal judge Jacqueline Scott Corey will allow Microsoft to seek to complete the acquisition worldwide, excluding the United Kingdom, before the July 18 deadline. The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) announced on April 26 that it would not approve the proposed acquisition.
