Microsoft Xbox announced on the 2nd that it will participate in Gamescom held in Cologne, Germany with the largest booth size. Gamescom starts with a pre-event on the 23rd and runs until the 27th. Xbox has prepared for users to enjoy Gamescom online as well.
Xbox has over 30 game titles, over 150 gaming stations and a dedicated 300-seat theater at Gamescom. An exclusive video of ‘Starfield’ Gamescom will be released at the site. ‘Starfield’ developed by Bethesda Game Studio is a sci-fi open world action game, but it does not officially support Korean.
More than 25 game titles from partners come with Xbox. On-site attendees can play ‘Stalker 2’ by GSC Game World, ‘Payday 3’ by Star Breeze Studio, and ‘Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty’ by CDPR. A demonstration space for ‘Towerbone’, developed by Stoic Studio and scheduled for release in 2024, has also been prepared.
For three days from the 23rd to the 25th local time, Xbox will conduct a 3-hour live stream every day. Xbox introduces the latest game information through live streams. The broadcast is conducted in English and supports Korean subtitles. You can watch live streams through your Xbox channel on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and more.
Xbox FanFest, an online and offline user event, will also be held. In the case of online, it starts at 3:30 am (20:30 CEST) on the 24th in Korea time. Users can receive various products through events.
Xbox prepares people with disabilities to enjoy on-site events without problems. All booths are accessible to wheelchair users, and height-adjustable booths can be used as needed. English sign language and German sign language interpreters are also assigned. Booths with auxiliary equipment are provided where necessary.
