Microsoft will remove the car game Forza Motorsport 7 from the Microsoft Store from September 15. Both the game and all DLC will disappear and will thus not be available for purchase, but if you have already bought it, you will of course be able to download it as many times as you want. People who acquired the game via Xbox Game Pass and then purchased DLC for the game will continue to have access to the game.
Neither Microsoft nor Turn 10 has given any sensible explanation as to why they will remove the game except that it has reached the end of its life cycle. However, it is speculated that this is due to the fact that the licenses for the game’s cars have expired.
With only six weeks left before the game disappears, Microsoft has lowered the price of the game quite properly, so if you want it, you have to take the opportunity to buy it before 15 September. Standard versions now costs SEK 87 while while Ultimate Edition now costs SEK 187 instead of SEK 749.
Forza Motorsport 7 was released in the fall of 2017 for both Xbox One and Windows.
