Although Windows 11 is currently the main focus of news updates, Microsoft hasn’t forgotten about Windows 10 and is therefore continuing to work on making it better than it is today and it’s not likely to change any time soon. it is still the most widely used operating system, with 72.23% of all computers running some version of the Microsoft operating system.
This can be seen as good or bad news, as a significant portion of current Windows 10 users who could have switched to Windows 11 but chose not to, made that decision due to the stability it currently offers. And we’re talking about an operating system that has already been carefully polished over the years, which we can’t say about Windows 11 just yet, although it will obviously come with time as well.
Be that as it may, and as I said before, Microsoft intends to continue bringing news to Windows 10 and how can we learn and WindowsLatest , a new one is on the way, which is already available in build 19044.1806 (KB5014666), currently in preview on the display channel and, given the dates, it is likely that it will arrive with the already more than confirmed Windows 10 update 22H2. And interestingly, this is the feature that makes the transition from Windows 11 to its predecessor.
In particular, this new feature allows you to assign a PIN to a print job. What is this used for? That the printer saves the job in memory but does not print it until we enter a PIN. This function therefore offers an important improvement in terms of privacy, especially if we use shared printers in public places, whatever they may be.
