Microsoft Whiteboard adds new color tools on the web, Android, and Microsoft Teams. Those of Redmond have presented several new features for your Whiteboard application. This includes a new highlight and color tool, plus new sticky notes.
The company announced it recently on Twitter. These features will come to the Microsoft Whiteboard experience both in Microsoft Teams, on the web, and on Android devices.

Recently we counted them how Whiteboard would add new features to Microsoft Teams channels and chats, thus improving its integration.
With the adhesive notes, users can now change the color and texture of the same via a toolbar or by clicking the right mouse button. What’s more, now it is possible to change the thickness and color of the pencil, which should make it easier for users to emphasize parts of the text within the content. Finally, Whiteboard has added a new highlight tool with 15 new colors and additional thickness options. The software giant said these features would also be coming to Windows 10 and iOS versions soon.

In addition to Whiteboard, Microsoft has also announced in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center that I would change the storage location of the Whiteboard app. It will do it from Azure to OneDrive for Business and the change will take place in October 2021. This change will apply to whiteboards created in Microsoft Teams and standalone Whiteboard apps.
The firm says this will address various content management, governance and compliance issues for thousands of organizations around the world.
