The update with code number 22000.346 is now available in Insider and fixes several issues with printers, for example. And one of the modifications is to return the original blue color for the system message, which no one likes to see.
The BSOD has accompanied the Microsoft operating system since Windows 1.0 and so far only the hue has changed. The black screen may already be in Windows 8However, Microsoft always stayed in the blue. The reason for the current change is not further explained by Microsoft, it is listed deep in the list of fixes „We changed the screen color to blue when a device stops working or a stop error occurs as in previous versions of Windows“.
