Microsoft Tries New Version of Notepad for Windows 11, Supports Dark Mode!

INDOZONE.ID – Notepad has now become a very iconic software on the Windows operating system for a long time and to this day, the application is still presented to users Windows 11 as the default text writer application.

But just now Microsoft has tested a new version of Notepad designed for Windows 11. The Notepad application comes with a UI design that integrates with Windows 11 and also features a Dark Mode feature.

Currently, the latest version of Notepad can be tried by Windows 11 users who enter the Insiders program, especially the Dev Channel. The Windows 11 build that comes with this new Notepad version is 22509.

“A new version of Notepad is rolling out on the Dev Channel. There’s a Dark Mode in it!” wrote journalist from the site Windows Central, Zac Bowden via his Twitter account.

Of course this is good news because Microsoft has never presented a UI update for Notepad since the Windows Vista era. Though many users often use Notepad for various purposes.

Unfortunately there are no additional features apart from the visuals. Even though many users want the Notepad application to be able to come with features such as tabbing to auto-save when the application suddenly closes and has not been saved.
