The new tube monitor optics from Windows Terminal
So far, the documentation for the new Windows Terminal command line tool always said that April / May the final version – Terminal 1.0 – would be published by Github. Now that became loud Online magazine Winaero specified, Instead of April, as it was initially in the roadmap, May 1 should now be the release for the final version. Accordingly, you can now also find information at Github that all planned functions should be completed by May 2020.
Next pre-release soon
Until then there are only a few weeks left. Until then, some preliminary versions have been announced for testing, including the next one in the coming week. The team plans to deploy Terminal 0.9 on February 11. Windows program manager Kayla Cinnamon has already given a brief insight into the upcoming innovations on Twitter:

Version 0.9 has other new features, such as opening new tabs and windows from the command line.
Coming soon “feature-complete”
Terminal 0.9 will also be the last preview before the final release, which also brings new functions. That means that Terminal will be “feature-complete” in the coming week. After that it’s all about fine tuning. The upcoming beta versions will only contain bug fixes and optimizations. With the app, the group provides important tools that offer a common interface for all command line access on the Redmond platform.
The target group of the new tool from Microsoft is primarily developers, but of course also Windows users who like to use the command line and expect a modern tool – both groups can now try out the new beta version.
