Microsoft has been loading Windows 10 with new features and new apps over the years. They are dedicated to improving this system and bringing some important news to users.
Of course, in the middle of all the apps that are present, some are perfectly unnecessary. So Microsoft decided to clean up Windows 10 and remove some apps. The ones chosen now are those dedicated to 3D.
3D was the future not long ago
Windows 10 has had some apps dedicated to 3D for a few years. They promised to completely change this system and what we could do with it. It would be the door for users to create and materialize their ideas, even the most complicated ones.
The truth is that 3D does not seem to have consistently been successful and users simply did not join these apps as they did with others. The traditional tools are still used, being sufficient for what is required of Windows 10 by those who use it constantly.
Microsoft started cleaning Windows 10
Thus, Microsoft is preparing to remove Paint 3D and 3D Viewer apps from Windows 10. These have a well-identified purpose and are dedicated to creating or visualizing the 3-dimensional objects that are needed.
This cleaning will take place in the next major update of Windows 10, which is expected to arrive very soon. After installation, these apps can still be accessed and must be installed from the Microsoft app store.
There are more apps to remove from the system
Another thing that should disappear at the same time is the 3D Objects folder. This was dedicated to receiving 3D objects that are created by the user or that are imported from the Internet. Thus, when they were placed here, they were simpler to manage by users.
It is curious to see that apps like Paint ended up remaining essential and beat their substitutes. This cleaning follows others that have already been done and that removed from Windows 10 some essential apps and that thus passed to the Microsoft store, from where they can be installed.
