Microsoft: Shortage of Xbox Series consoles will last until April 2021

Microsoft has said the Xbox Series X and S deficit will continue until about April 2021. Via the VG247 we read that Microsoft chief financial officer Tim Stuart says that supply and demand are fairly skewed at the moment and that there are significant shortages. So it’s not surprising that people use the console for bizarre amounts to offer.

It will take a while and we will still see the hardware shortages for now as we head into the holidays. When we move into Q4 (financial year) our supply chain will be running at full speed to prepare for the pre-summer months. Stock will increase by then and the console will be more readily available around that time.
