like the March NPD ranking highlighted, Sony continues to suffer from the PS5 stock and the Xbox Series takes advantage of this to grow even more.
Speaking as part of a corporate meeting, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella explained that his company’s newest console “gained global share for two consecutive quarters and [foi] the market leader this quarter among next-gen consoles in the US, Canada, UK and Western Europe.” Considering the verbiage used (last-gen), he means it sold more than the PS5, but less than the Switch (or PS4).
Since Microsoft no longer reports hardware sales figures, we are unlikely to find out how many more consoles were sold. However, with Sony releasing exclusive titles like Horizon Forbidden West e Grand Touring 7 just in the last quarter, this is not exactly the result that the company expected besides, of course, dealing with the inventory problems.
With Xbox Cloud Gaming… more than 10 million people have streamed games to date, and we expanded the service to four new countries.
