After numerous complaints from Windows users, the developers have confirmed that there is a problem with the installation of HP Smart. According to Microsoft, this was due to the operating system misidentifying the printers. Users who are facing the mentioned issue can now download KB5034510 package to their computer to resolve the issue. During the installation of the update, information about the printers installed in the system will be checked and appropriate changes will be made to normalize the operation of the devices. Additionally, the HP Smart app will be uninstalled if no HP devices or company drivers are identified.

Users who are experiencing this issue can download KB5034510 through Windows Update. The 188 KB package includes executable files for all supported Microsoft operating systems. Most users should use PrintMetadataTroubleshooterX64.exe, but the package also includes a version for 32-bit systems and Arm devices.
