Microsoft releases Surface Pro 8 and Surface Go 3 LTE in the Netherlands – Tablets and phones – News

Microsoft has started selling new Surface devices in the Netherlands. The company is introducing the Surface Pro 8, matte black and LTE versions of the Surface Go 3, a Wi-Fi-only variant of the Surface Pro X with Arm-soc, and a Surface Adaptive Kit, among others.

Microsoft releases the Surface Pro 8 on Wednesdays in the Netherlands from 1179 euros, the manufacturer says. This concerns a model with an Intel Core i5 CPU from the Tiger Lake generation, 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. That is exclusive Type Cover keyboard; that costs 180 euros, or 280 euros with a stylus. The company also comes with other versions, for example with a Core i7 CPU, up to 32GB of memory and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The most expensive configuration therefore costs 2679 euros. The manufacturer indicates that the Surface Pro 8 will be available on Wednesday via its own webshop and via other retailers.

Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 8 last year and then reported that the convertible would be available in the Netherlands in 2022. The Surface Pro 8 includes a touch-sensitive 13″ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2880×1920 pixels. The convertible also has Thunderbolt 4 connectors type C.

Also coming an LTE version by the lower-positioned Surface Go 3 available. That LTE version only comes with an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD. That configuration costs 779 euros. That does not include keyboard; a Type Cover costs 100 or 130 euros extra, depending on the color. In addition, Microsoft is introducing a matte black version of the Surface Go 3.

In addition, on Wednesday, Microsoft will release a WiFi-only variant of the existing Surface Pro X. That convertible has an Arm-soc from Qualcomm. This version was also previously announced. The WiFi-only variant is available from 949 euros and is therefore 100 euros cheaper than the existing LTE variant.

Microsoft also starts selling its Surface Adaptive Kit in the Netherlands, for 16 euros. This is a set of stickers and labels with different textures and colours, which can be used, for example, to label gates or keycaps, which should increase accessibility. Coming out later this year a Surface Laptop Studio. That is a notebook with a ‘repositionable’ 120Hz screen. Microsoft previously spoke of a release of this ‘early 2022’, but has not yet released the laptop.
