Microsoft recalled the imminent shutdown of the popular version of Windows

According to the publication, the withdrawal of support means that Windows 10 21H1 will no longer receive regular updates, including security patches.

“Therefore, it is not worth continuing to work with this version, because it will become vulnerable to hacker attacks,” writes the newspaper.

Note that this version of the operating system is still popular among all Microsoft operating systems, as in 2022 it was used by around 35% of all users.

As reported by Cursor, Puget Systems experts conducted a series of tests on Windows 10 and Windows 11 and concluded that the new operating system is slightly more powerful than its predecessor.

So, in the Cinebench benchmark on AMD hardware, Windows 10 turned out to be slightly more productive than the new system. In Unreal Engina tests, Microsoft operating systems showed parity, except for the Intel Core i9 12900K processor use case.
