Microsoft has new security updates published. All kinds of products need to be patched such as Windows kernel, PowerShell, Print Spooler and Office.
Windows 10 updates are cumulative. The monthly security release includes all security fixes for vulnerabilities affecting Windows 10, in addition to non-security updates. A list of the latest updates from the servicestack for each operating system can be found in ADV990001. This list is updated when a new service stack update is released. It is important to install the latest service stack update.
In addition to security changes for the vulnerabilities, updates include in-depth security updates to help improve security-related features.
