Microsoft has unveiled the next operating system in the traditional Windows series. Windows 11 will be officially launched later this year, and among the many items on the list is an increased focus on games.
Via Xbox’s official website Microsoft’s Sarah Bond declared something bombastic that this is the best Windows operating system for gaming. For example, anyone who upgrades from Windows 10 – which will be free for everyone – can look forward to better graphics and shorter loading times, Bond said.
Auto-HDR and DirectStorage
On the graphics side, Windows 11 introduces an automatic solution for High Dynamic Range – popularly called HDR. Auto-HDR makes it possible to present games in a richer color spectrum and with more varied brightness, even for titles that basically have no HDR support.
Furthermore, Windows 11 entices with DirectStorage, a scheme already available in Xbox Series X / S. This throws a lot of the drag job for games directly onto the graphics card instead of the processor, which will help reduce loading times and allow players to “experience incredibly detailed game worlds that are loaded at record speed” – given that your PC is equipped with SSD storage .
Furthermore, Microsoft promises easier access to your games, with the Xbox app built into Windows 11. In addition to the games available via Xbox Game Pass for PC, the app also entices with Xbox Cloud Gaming, which means that Ultimate subscribers can play upcoming Xbox games. play via the cloud.
Finally, Windows 11 gets full support for Android apps, reports The Verge. The operating system will use the Amazon Store to allow users to download and run things like TikTok and Snapchat.
Windows 11 has not been given an official release date, but is scheduled to be released as a free update later in 2021.
