Microsoft is ready to start operations in the new Data Center Region in Mexico located in Querétaro, and although an opening date has not yet been set, it is expected to start soon.
The multinational technology company advanced the progress of the installation of a data center that will provide comprehensive, intelligent and secure services through the cloud of Office, Azure, Dynamics y Power Platform.

Through a press conference, the company reported on the progress of the ‘Innovate for Mexico’ program, with which they make an investment of one thousand 100 million dollars that includes the installation of the Data Center in Querétaro, which will cover the equivalent of three soccer fields and will have a bandwidth to process information in petabytes.
Microsoft did not specify when this Data Center will be operational, but it announced that “comprehensive, secure, reliable and scalable services will be provided through the Microsoft cloud to help all organizations take full advantage of digitization and Promote your digital transformation.
In addition, the company also revealed that among its short-term plans is the construction of a fourth laboratory for the development of digital skills in students from Mexico, which will be located in the state of Guanajuato.
The new space will complement the work of the ‘Innovate for Mexico’ program that is currently being carried out in Chihuahua, Veracruz and Chiapas.
