Microsoft Officially Releases Windows 11, Can Use Android Apps

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Microsoft officially released computer operating system Windows 11 on Thursday (25/6). Windows 11 is designed with a simpler appearance and there are performance improvements and supports multitasking which is more optimal.

“Today marks a major milestone in the history of Windows. This is the beginning of a new generation of computing, we are resetting everything,” said Chief Executive of Windows, Satya Nadella quoting AFP, Thursday (25/6).

Later, Windows 11 can bring Android applications for the first time. However, not all Android applications can be implemented on Windows 11.

Windows 11 will also feature a new Start button. Its position is no longer at the bottom left of the screen, but has been moved to the middle. On the left side of the screen there will be a widget display that can be personalized.

Regarding the theme, there is a choice of Light and Dark Mode. Both themes have a transparent background display.

“Windows updates are 40 percent smaller,” said Panos Panay, Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer.

Windows 11 will also adopt the Auto HRD feature for game lovers. The image will be sharper and more detailed when the game is being played. Another feature is DirectStorage to make it easier to load games.

Previously, many observers predicted that Windows 11 would be an unusual product for the software technology industry. This is because there is currently a shortage of chips and other hardware.

Citing India.com, the latest Windows is expected to be the answer to the hybrid work life between work at the office and home that is widely done today.
