Today at noon, we informed you about the leaked materials that Microsoft had cancel your Xbox Live Gold service and replace it with a new Game Pass variant. Later in the day, the Redmond company made this change officially confirmed.
It replaces the existing Xbox Live Gold service a subscription called Xbox Game Pass Core. The price of the new version of Game Pass was set at $10 per month. A $60 annual membership will also be available. Subscribers get access to multiplayer and Xbox Store discounts.
It represents the most significant change compared to the existing Xbox Live Gold library containing more than 25 titles. You can view a full list of confirmed games below. Microsoft representatives confirmed that the library is to be partially changed two to three times a year. The Xbox Game Pass Core subscription will be available from September 14. Existing Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get access to it at no additional cost.
