Microsoft plans to update its Xbox Series X console in 2024, it became known from leaked documents. reports The Verge.
A console update codenamed Brooklin is accidentally revealed in new documents in a lawsuit by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Microsoft. The updated Xbox Series X, expected to start at $499, will have a more cylindrical design and will not have a disc drive.

According to internal confidential information from Microsoft, the new product will have 2 TB of memory, a USB-C port with Power Delivery and a “brand new” gamepad. The new Xbox Series X will have Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 modules, as well as a power supply with a 15% reduction in power.
The gamepad, codenamed Sebille, will have a two-tone color scheme, will have adaptive triggers like the PlayStation 5, and will also be able to support direct connection to the cloud. Sebille will also receive a Bluetooth 5.2 module.

Microsoft claims “precision haptic feedback” and a “haptic VCA system doubling as speakers.” The gamepad will have quieter buttons and a rechargeable and replaceable battery.
The Sebille gamepad will be announced at the end of 2023, and the updated Xbox Series X console will go on sale in October 2024. Estimated price – from 499 dollars (≈ 48,000 rubles).
