Microsoft Launches Xbox Partner Preview: What to Expect and Hope for in the First Event

Shortly after Microsoft finally acquired Activision Blizzard, Phil Spencer reiterated that we shouldn’t expect to see the Call of Duty and Diablo publisher’s games coming to Game Pass or any major releases until 2024, But that doesn’t mean the final bit in 2023 will be boring.

Microsoft disclose it is kicking off a new Nintendo Direct-style broadcast event called the Xbox Partner Preview, with the first event kicking off on October 25 at 6pm BST/7pm CEST.

The show will be over 20 minutes long and include new footage and details from Alan Wake 2, Ark: Survival Ascended, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and other third-party games big and small. This obviously means we won’t be getting any announcements from Activision, but that definitely doesn’t rule out Hollow Knight: Silksong, Diver Dave, and other games we’ve been begging for.

What do you think and hope to see in the first Xbox Partner Preview?
