Microsoft launches the artificial intelligence revolution… new features for Windows 11 users

Microsoft has released a set of new features that will allow users of Windows 11 and new generation Copilot + computers to perform more effectively and efficiently with the help of artificial intelligence.

In an official blog post, the company said that the Copilot + computers, which they released last May, in collaboration with major computer manufacturers such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Samsung, will provide experience exclusive to their users, with a package of new features, which will start arriving in the coming months.

The company reviewed the upcoming set of features, starting this October, and at the forefront was the Recall feature, which keeps a copy of all interfaces a user that the user interacts with during his sessions on his personal computer “Copilot +”, which the company had revealed in May, and that provoked a wide controversy.

Learn about the latest news from Microsoft, and the criticism aimed at the new feature it launched to save user data and activity under the name Recall.

Microsoft added steps to make this feature more secure and private. Unlike when it was launched, the Recall feature requires the user to activate It does not work automatically, and when it does, it needs the finger- his Windows Hello face menu to access the data stored with this feature.

In addition, the feature hides all sensitive data captured in photos through the Recover feature, such as credit card data, personal data, such as passwords, and data personal that reveals the identity of the user.

The new feature will begin to experimentally reach “Copilot +” computers running on Qualcomm

Microsoft also added a feature that allows the user to achieve more with the help of artificial intelligence with any content that appears on his computer screen, through the Click to Do feature, which allows the use of artificial intelligence on Copilot Plus computers to analyze the images. and texts that appear on the computer screen, and allow the user to interact with it faster and smarter.

All it takes to take advantage of the Click to Do feature is to press the Copilot button on the Copilot + keyboard, while clicking on the content to inter- work with it with the mouse cursor, and the available options will appear in front of the user.

For example, when the user browses some of his photos, he can enjoy the Visual Search with Bing feature, which allows him to find the content of an image within the Microsoft Bing search engine on Edge and delete your specific elements from within the Photos app, or you can also erase the background entirely within the Paint app.

With texts, the user can rewrite, summarize or explain them, with the possibility of displaying them within a text editor of the user’s choice, such as the NotePad application, or Microsoft Word, as well interacting with certain text formats with prompt commands, such as interacting with email addresses, by enabling the sending of a direct email message, or opening a website by interacting with link to it.

Finally, Microsoft made a radical update to the search feature on Windows, in a step that personal computer users have been waiting for a long time in memory, or in the cloud on board the OneDrive service for cloud storage, just by typing any words about the contents of the file, whether text documents, images, etc., without the need to remember the name of the file itself.

The new feature also works without the need for the Internet, in terms of searching for files stored locally on the user’s computer, thanks to the neural processing unit equipped with a better capacity for more has completed 40 trillion operations per second.

The new search capabilities will reach users within the File Explorer area first, and then will begin to reach the search box within the Windows taskbar and computer settings over the coming months.

Among the new updates, Windows 11 users on Copilot+ computers will get advanced capabilities to edit their photos, while keeping the quality high, or improving the quality significantly.

The new update allows users to improve the quality of their old photos, without worrying about them being blurry or of poor quality.

Within the Photos application on Windows, the user will be able to improve the display resolution of images up to 8 times, so that the quality reaches 4K, thanks to the special neural processing unit inside the Intel processors , AMD, and Qualcomm that operate their “Copilot Plus” computers.

The Paint program also has new features such as adding Generative Fill and removing Generative Erase elements from images with artificial intelligence.

With the two new features, the user will be able to make the images come alive with innovation and free from any distortion spoiling them, and he can also add elements that enhance the innovation in terms of -enter them, all with simple text commands, specifying the field you want to change.

Learn about Microsoft’s latest devices, the latest developments in the company’s competition with Apple in the personal computer market, and its impact on the intense competition over Intel and Qualcomm processors .

Copilot + computers are Microsoft’s card to enter the era of artificial intelligence with their Windows operating system, providing an experience that is able to attract users, and be able to compete with a long leadership Apple in the computer market through MacBook devices. (east)
