Microsoft is redesigning Xbox Game Pass Activities to reward the player more

Many Xbox Game Pass (Ultimate) members are looking forward to the daily, weekly and monthly tasks that the loyalty program offers Press Microsoftwhose point system allows you to trade gift cards buy hardware, games and digital content, among others.

And since yesterday we have already active monthly tasks for January 2023, but these are changes from what Microsoft had published in previous months. Daniel Martins, head of Xbox loyalty, did it himself commented this done through Twitter, where he explains that the main reason for the redesign is that increase premiums for the player.

Changes for the better in Xbox Game Pass activities

The main difference lies in the monthly “jackpot”, which previously rewarded 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points and will now do so with only 500. However, far from what this “nerf” may seem, in the weekly challenges we find a first task that gives 250 points and 5 morewhen they were alone before two tasks of 25 points.

As indicated by the aforementioned program manager:

One thing you’ll notice now is that playing great Xbox Game Pass games is even more rewarding, so keep checking yours weekly tasks.

From his words it is expected that every week we can get 250 points which would result in 1,000 bonus points instead of the previous 200great news for accumulators of points.

Of course, getting the 250 weekly points won’t just mean starting a game without more, it will be necessary fix it a bit. And we hope that Microsoft knows how to measure this aspect well, because if the challenges become too long or heavy, some players may become demotivated and even those who don’t like unlocking achievements from titles they don’t play will give up.
