It seems that emotions are running high and Twitter is becoming a place that many are using to reflect their feelings. A Blizzard employee was one of the last to speak out, stating that will be hired by Microsoft next week. Looks like Activision Blizzard’s workers are all gone informed and the merger is about to come out.
This is not surprising when you consider the recent impressive developments that have taken place in the whole FTC and Microsoft related issue. Every day that passes is one day closer to seeing the merger happen, especially now that the FTC’s appeals have been denied and it looks like the CMA has given its go-ahead for Microsoft’s purchase of Activision.
Welp…looks like I will be a Microsoft employee next week boys and girls. Don’t know what to expect but we will see. Excelsior! 🫡 pic.twitter.com/uE9jGy0388

This message, in addition to being both personal and celebratory for the Blizzard employee in question, symbolizes the sentiments of many within the video game industry who were anxious for this situation to end. Obviously, in this case there will always be winners and losers, it is still a commercial arrangement and not all parties involved in the trial will come away with anything profitable from the hearing.
Jamir Blanco’s testimony makes it clear that there are many Activision workers eager to see where this merger with Microsoft will take them. The community has also been celebrating these days, waiting, among other things, for the arrival of Call of Duty on Xbox Game Pass.
While we await the ideas that will flourish as projects within the video game industry after this merger between Microsoft and the FTC, we can only continue informing and compiling the latest news from the world of games and everything that currently revolves around it.
