Microsoft developers have been busy these days. They solved several separate problems related to drivers in Windows 10. The good news is that they managed to solve three serious errors that make life uncomfortable for users. The first concerns them Faulty updates to the AMD SCSIAdapter 9.3.0.221 driverthat was automatically installed on compatible computers through Windows Update. Users on the official Microsoft, Reddit and other forums started complaining that after updating and then restarting, their system surprised them with a blue screen of death with the error code “INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE”.

Affected users claim that the computer cannot subsequently boot. Fortunately, in most cases, automatic repair will help. In many cases, the bug seems to have affected mainly Gigabyte board assemblies, but other brands are also at risk. The faulty driver has now been removed from Windows Update so that it is no longer distributed to other computers. If your system has been able to download and install the update in the past few days, be sure not to restart your computer and open Device Manager. Here, locate the appropriate driver in the Storage Device Controllers section, and on the Driver tab, select Undo Driver Changes.
Another problem has been reported by some Windows 10 21H1 users who have installed it Cumulative Update KB5001391 issued at the turn of April and May. A small number of them were waiting for a death screen with the error code “BAD_POOL_CALLER”. Compatibility with Intel’s Rapid Storage Technology driver was to blame. The solution was to uninstall the KB5001391 update, which was available to Insiders members. Microsoft has now added information to the change list that this issue has been resolved. Owners of computers with Intel RST do not have to worry about updating.
Windows 10 also has long been affected by errors that prevent it from updating the operating system. Due to compatibility issues, owners of certain hardware could not switch to Windows 10 in version 2004 or 20H2. Because already On May 11, support for the 1909 version will end, this is a relatively fundamental problem. Microsoft and Synaptics now had to fix the remaining compatibility bugs and remove the last blocks that concerned the Conexant and Conexant ISST audio drivers. As of May 7, 2021, owners of devices with the affected drivers can also upgrade to a newer version of Windows 10. Microsoft advises that if the upgrade still fails, they should perform the upgrade again.-
