It is not clear when the Surface Neo comes true; when Microsoft unveiled the device in late October 2019, the company said the Neo would hit the market before the end of 2020. In April there were already rumors that Microsoft will release the Surface Neo would postpone to next year.

Since the original announcement, the Surface Neo has been relatively quiet. Microsoft has presented the simultaneously Surface Duo-smartphone released in the meantime. In the interview, Panay looks ahead to the arrival of more devices with two screens: “I believe there will be more variants with different sizes. We are committed to that and we have a roadmap with multiple screen sizes,” said Panay.
