Microsoft Flight Simulator update refurbishes Norwegian nature

Microsoft and Asobo have released a brand new update for Microsoft Flight Simulator. As with the game’s previous World Updates, it’s about renovations and a little extra love for a certain part of the world, and this time it’s Norway’s turn.

The Nordics update boasts improvements and more detailed environments in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. According to the game’s website players can expect better landscapes and architecture, as well as updated data for 100 airports and 77 selected landmarks.

In Norway, for example, you can visit Nidaros Cathedral, Bryggen in Bergen and the Royal Palace or go on a Harry trip over Svinesundsbrua. The update also introduces five new landing challenges – one for each country – and in Norway it is Svalbard airport players will have to work on.

World Update V: Nordics is available for free to anyone who owns Microsoft Flight Simulator and can be downloaded now. The update also introduces the Norwegian language to the game, for those who want it.

In other Microsoft Flight Simulator news, Microsoft has confirmed release date for console version. The game will hit Xbox Series X / S on July 27, and will also be available for Xbox One via the Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming service.

Microsoft has also introduced more of Halo Infinite.
