That’s it ! A release date for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator has just been announced. 14 years after the release of the last album, Flight Simulator X, many points have been improved. More planes, more beautiful scenery and much more. Microsoft has rarely disappointed players with its flagship simulation license, let’s hope this is still the case with this new production.
In terms of news, the studio aims high with a world more alive and more realistic than ever : we will be entitled to a dynamic weather, revisited day / night cycles, a real-time traffic management, animals moving in lush surroundings composed of more than two billion trees, mountains, rivers and morea billion buildings.
It will be possible to control more than 20 devices different each including more than 1,000 aerodynamic modeling surfaces to have a more real experience than ever. If the vehicles have been revisited, the rules have also been with a new system of checklist allowing beginners as experienced players to have an experience that suits them. Dynamic weather and day / night cycles will not only change the graphics of the game, but will also affect driving taking into account various parameters such as wind, temperature, humidity or even rain. Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available in three editions :
- Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard (€ 69.99) includes 20 planes each with their own way of flying and 30 airports worked by hand. This edition will be available from the day of its launch in the Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta).
- Microsoft Flight Simulator Deluxe (€ 89.99) includes all of the content in the standard edition and adds 5 more planes and 5 international airports.
- Microsoft Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe (€ 119.99) includes the entire content of the Deluxe edition and adds 5 more planes and 5 international airports.
The release date of Microsoft Flight Simulator is set for August 18, 2020. It is also possible to pre-order the game on Windows 10 PC now and even to pre-install it if you are a member of the Xbox Game Pass pour PC.
