The arrival of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 to PC is not the only reason for celebration for the community, as we had anticipated a few months ago, the new update of the title on PC is already among us and the improvement in performance is clearly evident.
The core of the update is the more efficient use of the CPU, which caused some drops in performance, mainly in the densest and most detailed areas such as the Manhattan area in New York City and its surroundings.
Better performance in Microsoft Flight Simulator
The update had been announced almost a month ago through a direct on the title channel on Twitch where the CEO of Asobo, Sebastian Wloch, made a comparison on his own PC, which you can imagine is not low quality, but rather an Intel Core i7 9700K with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super and with the game running at 4K in Ultra. The result between the previous version and the Sim Update 5 it’s really brutal when it comes to performance improvements.
If you have a more humble PC and you were suffering a bit with the simulator, try after installing the recently arrived update that will allow you to have a better experience with this great title.
